Continuing Education Units (CEU) Class

Continuing Education courses credits qualify for both American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA) members. They also qualify for American Institute of Architects (AIA) Self Reporting Credits.

This one hour presentation has been developed to help specifiers of commercial interior carpet gain an awareness of a variety of factors to consider when specifying carpet for a particular end use area. Design, construction, yarn type, color and type facility where it will be installed are only a few of the many items discussed as needing to be carefully considered. Included are examples and specific experiences from the past to help demonstrate what can happen when the wrong carpet is specified for a project.

Carpet: Recycling it Today for Tomorrow On-site Class	Course: #7141 CEU Credit: 0.1
This one hour presentation delivers a unique look at environmental stewardship and provides an awareness of issues currently surrounding the state of environmental initiatives. At the conclusion of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of how we as a society deplete our resource and what is being done specific to carpet to help ease the burden of waste in our lives.
