Zeftron nylon is pleased to announce that we are now offering two Continuing Education (CEU) courses:
Carpet: Recycling It Tomorrow
The one-hour presentation :
- Delivers a unique look at environmental stewardship
- Provides awareness of issues currently surrounding the state of environmental initiatives
- Helps illustrate the positive programs set up by the carpet industry that allows waste carpet to be diverted from landfill and used in a more valuable way
Carpet: Specifying for Performance
The one-hour presentation :
- Conveys a message of concern regarding proper specifying of commercial carpet
- Delivers past experiences
- Presents a practical guide to avoiding pitfalls that many specifiers and designers have encountered
Each CEU course is a 0.1 CEU credit for both the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). American Institute of Architecture (AIA) members qualify for Self Reporting Credits which can be reported online.

In an effort to help decipher how LEED credits relate to commercial carpet products, we have developed a helpful brochure that outlines, in an easy-to- read, "user friendly" platform what you need to know to be successful and understand the implications to specifying carpet made with recycled content. The brochure presents difficult questions with easy-to- understand answers and opportunities.
