This Zeftron nylon Performance Certified Carpet, when installed and maintained as recommended by the Zeftron nylon Service Center, will retain at least 90% of its pile fiber for the duration of its useful life, subject to the following limitations:

This warranty does not cover the use of cut pile carpet on stairs. This warranty does not cover tears, burns or cuts. It does not cover damage due to lack of protection under roller caster chairs. This warranty does not cover pile loss or damage due to improper use of cleaning agents, or the application of improper cleaning agents and/or maintenance methods. If dissatisfied with this carpet's wear performance, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and permit a Zeftron approved testing agent to test the carpet. Subject to the foregoing, if the carpet is found to have lost more than 10% of its pile fiber, Zeftron will replace the original carpet in the affected room or area, free of charge, including installation, except that no charges for moving or replacing equipment, furnishings, partitions, etc., will be allowed.

This Zeftron nylon Performance Certified Carpet, when installed and maintained as recommended by the Zeftron nylon Service Center, will be shock-proof to human beings for the duration of its useful life, subject to the following limitations:

If human comfort is affected by shock, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and permit testing of the carpet. If, in testing, and subject to the other limitations contained herein, the carpet generates static above 3.0 kv (the threshold of normal human sensitivity is 3.5 kv), when tested by a Zeftron approved testing agency in accordance with AATCC test method 134 at 20% humidity and 70?F, Zeftron will replace the original carpet in the affected room or area, free of charge, including installation, except that no charges for moving or replacing equipment, furnishings, partitions, etc., will be allowed.

This Zeftron nylon Performance Certified carpet, made exclusively with Zeftron Solure solution-dyed nylon yarn, and not adding additional applications of color using conventional dye methods, when installed and maintained as recommended, will resist permanent stains caused by spills of all substances for the duration of its useful life, subject to the following limitations:

This guarantee specifically excludes general soiling, discoloration, or appearance change due to pile distortion. It also excludes exposure to substances or contaminants which degrade or destroy nylon yarn or the color of carpet. Also, this guarantee specifically excludes carpet which has been surface-treated with materials not recommended or approved, or which has been subjected to abnormal use, abnormal conditions, or to cleaning agents or maintenance methods not recommended or approved by the Zeftron nylon Service Center.

This Zeftron nylon Performance Certified Carpet, made exclusively with Zeftron Solure solution dyed nylon yarn and containing only Zeftron approved yarn or carpet treatments, when installed and maintained as recommended by Zeftron, FOR INDOOR USE ONLY, and subject to the other limitations set forth herein, will be colorfast against exposure to light and atmospheric contaminants as specified below:

COLORFASTNESS TO LIGHT:
This carpet is warranted for its useful life or for a period of time not to exceed 200 Xenon Fadeometer hours of such exposure, (whichever shall first occur), this Performance Certified carpet will not display evidence of significant change in color due to exposure to light.

In order to make a claim under this warranty, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and furnish to the Zeftron nylon Service Center non-returnable samples of the carpet for testing. If in testing, and subject to the other limitations set forth herein, (1) the carpet is found to have a rating of 3 or less under the Gray Scale for Evaluating Change in Color, AND (2) such rating is determined to be the result of exposure to light for a period of time not to exceed 200 Xenon Fadeometer hours of such exposure, when tested in accordance with AATCC test method 16-1993, Zeftron will replace the original carpet in the affected room or area, free of charge, including installation, except that no charges for moving or replacing equipment, furnishings, partitions, etc., will be allowed.

COLORFASTNESS TO ATMOSPHERIC CONTAMINANTS:
For the useful life of this carpet, this Zeftron nylon Performance Certified carpet will not display evidence of a significant change in color due to exposure to atmospheric contaminants (Ozone or Oxides of Nitrogen). In order to make a claim under this warranty, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and furnish to Zeftron non-returnable samples of the carpet for testing. If in testing by the Zeftron nylon Service Center and subject to the other limitations set forth herein, (1) the carpet is found to have a rating of 3 or less under the Gray Scale for Evaluating Change in Color, AND (2) such a rating is determined to be the result of Ozone exposure for a period of time not to exceed 8 cycles when tested in accordance with AATCC test method 129-1990, or Oxides of Nitrogen exposure for a period of time not to exceed 8 cycles when tested in accordance with AATCC test method 164-1992, the original carpet in the affected room or area will be replaced free of charge, including installation, except that no charges for moving or replacing equipment, furnishings, partitions, etc., will be allowed.
