We were enthralled with the beauty of all of the wonderful design that graced the Mart on Day One of NeoCon 2018. Here are some fascinating highlights that caught our eye.
Custom hides by Green Hides were created with a laser then applied on a printed material — truly eye-catching work.
An Alexander Girard design titled “Stairsteps,” originally created for a cocktail napkin from the 1950s, was reimagined as a cloth rug by Maharam.
Natural materials were featured prominently in the furnishings industry this year, including the striking “Green Wall” at Knoll.
Several designs were inspired by objects in the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and the Museum of International Folk Art, bringing rich cultural heritage into modern commercial design.
NeoCon continues to be a source of inspiration for the commercial interiors community, showcasing the latest innovations in materials, color and pattern that influence the way we design and experience spaces.
